Waterloo, New York tourism map
One of the very first map designs in my career! Took me about six months off and on in 2003 to illustrate and design the entire map and publication. I actually didn't know when to stop drawing. I think after I added tree reflections in the water is when I realized I was going overboard!
This design was for a visitor's brochure for the village of which they printed 10,000 to give to each resident. They still use the map to this day. A very wise investment indeed!
I was also a volunteer firefighter with the Waterloo Volunteer Fire Department for the two years that I lived in the area (Seneca Falls). And won Firefighter of the Year in 2003.
